Some political forces in Delhi want to teach me lessonsin democracy, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi while hitting back at Congressleader Rahul Gandhi, after the latter, in his recent attack to the BJPgovernment said, there was ‘no democracy in India’ and if anyone gather thecourage to stand up against the PM and the government, they are then labeled asanti-nationals or terrorists, even if it’s RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat.
Citing DDC (District Development Council) polls in Jammuand Kashmir as perfect example of democracy in, PM Modi said, those people whoalways taunt and insult me and now want to teach me lessons in democracy,should see the smooth conduct of DDC polls.
Further after launching the Ayushman Bharat Scheme forhealth insurance coverage to all residents of the union territory, PM Modisaid, the recent local body election in Jammu and Kashmir "strengthenedroots of democracy" and congratulated voters for exercising theirfranchise in the seven-phase election.
