Chandigarh, May 8: The Punjab Chief Minister Capt. AmarinderSingh has sought the support of Radha Saomi Satsnag Beas in the state’s fightagainst Covid, while directing all DCs to closely coordinate with authorizedrepresentatives in various branches of the Satsang in this regard.
In a letter to the Satsang chief Gurinder Singh Dhillon, theChief Minister has urged him to make all branches available with the Satsangfor the treatment of Covid patients, with attendants deputed for thepurpose. He also requested Dhillon toextend help in the form of medicines and other relief material for Covidaffected persons across the state.
While the state government was making concerted efforts, aspart of 'Mission Fateh', to ensure best possible medical care for the Covidpatients, the constantly spiralling cases warranted unstinted support fromreligious institutions, NGOs and other such organisations, said the ChiefMinister.
Referring to Radha Soami Satsang Beas’ yeoman's service inthe state’s battle against Covid last year, which had helped in stabilizing thesituation considerably, the Chief Minister said the pandemic this year was evenmore virulent and life threatening, thus requiring support from the Satsang intackling it. He pointed out that experts had warned that the next wave would beeven more dangerous, which necessitated the collective efforts of all to ensurethe success of 'Mission Fateh'.
