SC orders restoration of internet for all essential services in JK, says govt actions not justified

The Supreme Court on Friday observed that the central government's actions in Kashmir could not be justified by the emergency situation in the region.

The court also observed that a total internet shutdown is a "drastic" measure that should be considered only when absolutely necessary.
