Sean Connery, the first James Bond, dies at 90

Sean was the first actor to portray James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films between 1962 and 1983

2020 is turning out to be shocking day by day. The year has been a witness to the death of millions of people including some world-renowned personalities. Now, going by the reports, legendary British actor Sean Connery, best known for playing fictional spy James Bond in seven films, has died aged 90.

Sean was the first actor to portray James Bond in film, starring in seven Bond films (every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again), between 1962 and 1983. 

Connery won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Untouchables in 1988.
