Recently, Shilpa Shetty visited Mata VaishnoDevi Temple in Jammu and Kashmir's Katra to seek blessings of the Lord.
As husband Raj Kundra is facing legal actionin the porn scandal case, is currently in jail. Since her arrest, Shilpa had toface many difficulties after his arrest. Shilpa was also accused of running ascandal with her husband. Although actress Shilpa Shetty is facing thisdifficult time, now she has come to visit Vaishno Devi Mata to seek the blessingsof God.
Many pictures and videos have been doing therounds on the internet, wherein we can see Shilpa taking the journey to theshrine on a horse. She even interacted with other devotees there.
Police officials said she arrived at Katra,the base camp of the cave shrine on Wednesday. Soon after her arrival she was accompaniedby police personnel. She undertook the journey to the shrine on a horse. Shechanted 'Jai Mata Di' during the journey. Talking to reporters, she said,"I am very happy to be here. It was due to the goddesses' call that I cameall the way to pay obeisance to her.”
Her visit to holy shrine came to the same daywhen Mumbai police has filed a charge sheet against her husband in thepornography case.
Kundra, 45, was arrested on July 19 in thesensational case in which there are several other accused, and the charge sheetrunning into around 1,500 pages, has been lodged before a Mumbai magistratecourt.
Shilpa Shetty has great faith in God; she isoften seen in religious places and events. She said that she is a devotee ofMata Vaishno Devi.
