DayanandAyurvedic College Jalandhar was established since 1898 in India. It is theoldest college to start the institutional study in Ayurveda. A six-day long CMEprogramme was conducted for private and Government Ayurveda practitioners. Theprogramme was funded by Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India and organized throughAll India Ayurveda Congress (AIAC), New Delhi.
Dr.Sanjeev Sood, principal Dayanand Ayurveda College, briefed media that, in this6-day long programme 30 participants from different states West Bengal,Himachal Pradesh and Punjab participated enthusiastically. Experts from various specialties fromdifferent institutes delivered their lectures stressing on the applied aspectsof Ayurveda including diet, health, eye disorders herbs and panchkarma alongwith recent updates of Ayurveda which will be very beneficial for the privateand govt. Ayurveda Practitioners in their zeal to practice Ayurveda infuture.

DrRamesh Arya, Vice President DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi honouredthe trainees doctors and staff of Dayanand Ayurvedic college, Jalandhar whoinvested their best efforts for successful completion of this 6 days longprogramme. He praised principal Dr. Sanjeev Sood for guiding his staff tocomplete this CME programme in which COVID-19 protocol was properly followed.He told the participants about the benefits of Ayurveda and acknowledged itsbenefits to general people during COVID-19 pandemic.
Certificateswere distributed among 30 participants for their active participation andmementoes were provided to the speakers.
