Stock markets all in green – Midcap index hits record high and over 400 stocks hit their 52-week high

Sensex climbed and holding above 48K while the smallcap index is still about 1,500 points shy of its lifetime high.

Among the large-cap companies, Asian Paints, HCL Tech, HDFC,Sun Pharma, TCS, Tech Mahindra, and Titan hit 52-week high.

Among the small-cap stocks companies like JaiprakashAssociates, Jain Irrigation Systems, and Majesco hit their upper circuits.

The bulls seem to be in firm control of the markets and theyear has opened on a festive note for investors.
