Time magazine honours women protesting against Narendra Modi-backed Black Three Farm Laws

The women felt indignant that they were regarded as ancillary to the mission of setting a precedent and an example by getting the Central Government of India to bow down against the farmers, the majority of whom are from one state – Punjab.

What?

The Times magazine paid obeisance to women empowerment withits focus on a mission against the tyrant and autocratic Narendra Modi who dared to modernize thefarming system in India allegedly for the benefit of the farming community and the end-consumersby eliminating the middle-men.

Women Empowerment

Women have been accompanying their men in the protests atDelhi border from day one.

However, probably, the women were not satisfied by how they wereportrayed by media.

So, they took it upon themselves to set it correct and nowhave got themselves featured on the cover of the famed Time magazine.

The magazine has timed its issue well with the upcomingInternational Women’s Day, choosing words that equate their protests to a war, “frontlines”.

‘I Cannot Be Intimidated. I Cannot Be Bought’

When the supposedly weak old people and women were requestedto vacate the protest sites and return to their homes by the Chief Justice ofIndia, the said people felt insulted.

It is pertinent to note that actress Kangana Ranaut hadchallenged that the women who are participating are mercenaries. In otherwords, they are participating not for their belief but for money.

The women seeing all these heaps of pity and insults beingfired at them made sure they pushed their men behind and took center stage, and now are rewarded with their faces and their story being immortalized on Times magazine cover.
