9,222 candidates are fielded for the local body electionsin Punjab to 2,302 wards of eight municipal corporations of Abohar, BathindaBatala, Kapurthala, Mohali, Hoshiarpur, Pathankot and Moga, 109 municipalcouncils and nagar panchayats.
Repolling was ordered in two booths at SAS Nagar (Mohali)on February 17 after receiving complaints of irregularities on February 14. Repollingat booth number 32 and 33 of ward number 10 of SAS Nagar Municipal Corporationis going to take place on February 18.
