Avideo reportedly went viral on social media on Wednesday evening in which twominor girls were seen being hit badly by a group of three men. The video was aCCTV footage recorded outside a house in Green Model Town area.
Afterinvestigation, it was reported that a father-son duo were allegedly chasing twosisters aged 15 and 14 and later they had badly beaten the girls on street. Theaccused were identified as Anil Happy, a businessman by profession and his sonRishi.
Theincident occurred on March 3, when the girls had gone to the accused to demandthem the pending dues of Rs 8,000. "In her statement to the police the15-year-old victim stated that her mother used to work as domestic helper inthe house of the accused. Hence, she andher sister had gone to the house of the accused to ask them to pay theremaining dues of their mother".
Evenbefore they both reached Anil's house his son met them on the street andstarted abusing them. He later along with his friend and father chased thegirls and physically assaulted them", stated the SHO police division 7.
