A Philadelphia basketball fan named Chris Girard proposed to his cheerleader girlfriend Jackie Murtha at the 76ers game and made an adorable gesture that he will cherish his entire life. The Philadelphia fan Chris proposed to Jackie who was one of the team’s dancers on the court during a stoppage in play. Chris Girard surprised his now fiancée Jackie Murtha by emerging from out of a onesie during the in-game entertainment. He then dropped to one knee and brought out the ring, while Sixers mascot Franklin the Dog held a sign that read 'Will you marry me?' Notably, Murtha was utter shock and overwhelmed by Chris's gesture and therefore she quickly said yes and the happy couple shared a heartfelt embrace before celebrating with Franklin on the court. The entire 'merry' couple, however, were subjected criticism, especially Chris as a troll targeted him saying that Murtha is too good for her. Ever since then both Chris and Murtha are busy giving it back to the trolls on social media. Now, the Americans are wondering who is Jackie Murtha.

She currently has almost 3700 followers on Instagram, however, she has been continuously facing trolls over her fiance Chris. As per the couple's Instagram accounts, it appears the loved-up pair have been together since at least 2015, travelling around the world together during their relationship, which began at school. Recently, Jackie shared photos and videos of her special moment.
