The Enforcement Directorate had summonedBollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez in connection with a case of preventionof money laundering involving multi-millionaire conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar. Jacquelineis being questioned in connection to the Sukesh Chandrasekhar money launderingcase.
Many have been wondering- who is SukeshChandrasekhar and how is he linked to Jacqueline and Nora.
Sukesh Chandrashekhar is a conman,businessman arrested by Enforcement Directorate in money extortion case. He wasin Tihar jail since 2017. It is believed, Chandrasekhar, who is in his late'30s used to con businessmen promising loans or try to settle any legal casesfor a price. He was arrested by the police in 2019.
After a photograph of Bollywood actressJacqueline Fernandez with conman Sukesh Chandrashekar went viral on theinternet, she has been making headlines. Chandrashekhar revealed during theinterrogation that he had gifted a horse worth ₹52 lakh and a Persian catworth ₹9 lakh to actor Jacqueline Fernandez. The name of actor Nora Fatehihas also been mentioned in the chargesheet as the actor was gifted an expensivecar by the conman. Both the actors have already been questioned by the ED.
Earlier, Nora Fatehi had issued a statement,which stated, “Nora Fatehi has been the victim around the case and being awitness, she is co-operating and helping the officers in the investigation. Wewould like to make it very clear that she has not been a part of any moneylaundering activity, she does not know or have any personal connection with theaccused and has been called by the ED to strictly help with theinvestigation."

As per sources, Nora Fatehi was invited to anevent by Chandrashekar's wife, Leena Maria Paul and received the expensive caras a gift for attending the event.
