After record breaking hit of Season 4, Panchayat Season 5 is expected to be released on Amazon Prime Video in 2026. Although the exact date is yet to be announced, it is expected that Panchayat Season 5 is in the making.
Faisal Mallik who plays the character of Prahalad in Panchayat series in a conversation with PinkVilla said, "The shooting is yet to happen. Once it's done, it'll take around one to one and a half years. They're currently writing the script behind closed doors. The scientist takes a year to come up with a script. Filming will happen next year (2026), but the release depends on Amazon Prime."
