Fans are sharing clips and pictures of an anti-drug officer who introduces himself as NCG officer who raids a party and arrests a Bollywood star who some girls. The NCG officer did not arrest the person who was actually smoking joints in front of him. Instead, he arrested a Bollywood star who was also present there.
A user wrote, "aryan khan literally played here by casting sameer wankhede lookalike in the bads of bollywood"
For those who are unaware, former Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) zonal chief Sameer Wankhede, led the investigation into Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan's alleged international drug racket during his detention.
In a podcast with YouTuber Gaurav Thakur, the IRS officer spoke about what was called the "elephant in the room"—the 2021 Cordelia Cruz drugs case, which landed Aryan Khan in jail for 25 days.
In the podcast, Wankhede had said, "I don't agree that it's an 'elephant in the room'; I would consider it one of the smallest cases of my career—a microorganism in the room."
He further said, "I don't want to attach much importance to this or waste my time discussing it. The case is currently in court, and I don't want to comment on it. I simply want to say that I'm not afraid of anything, nor am I hiding anything. I'm refraining from talking about it because I've given an affidavit to the court that I won't discuss this matter. There's a lot to share and talk about, but there's a code of conduct that prevents me from discussing it. Once the court gives its verdict, I'll definitely talk about it in detail."
In May 2022, Aryan was acquitted of all charges due to insufficient evidence.
