Among the most-awaited movies of the year, the first teaser of Toxic was released on January 8, 2026. Toxic teaser officially introduces 'Rocking Star' Yash's character as Raya in the movie. The makers have dropped Toxic's character teaser on Yash's birthday. On January 8, Yash turned 40-years-old.
The makers shared the character teaser with the caption, "Get a good look at your danger - Introducing Rocking Star Yash as RAYA."
In the teaser, Yash who plays Raya enters a graveyard after a bomb-blast and go on a killing spree. As the tagline of the movie "A Fairy Tale for Grown-Up", the teaser include some intimate scene and that has divided fans on social media.
A user wrote, "Let's see in theatres but few scenes were seriously unnecessary like that bold scene"
Another user posted a tweet and cautioned Dhurandhar 2 that it won't be easy to beat Toxic at the box office. For the unversed, it was JJ Perry who choreographed action-sequences of Hollywood action-packed movie John Wick. John Wick is among the most-loved action movies of all time globally.
Filmed simultaneously in Kannada and English, the project will also have dubbed versions in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.
Apart from Yash, the movie also features Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth in key roles.
It will be released in theaters on March 19, 2026.
