Rescue teams reached the spot shortly after receiving the alert and began efforts to rescue the victims trapped inside the wreckage.

Efforts by the police

Police officials secured the accident site, diverted traffic to prevent a jam, and launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash. The bodies of the deceased were shifted to a nearby hospital for post-mortem examination. The tragic incident has once again highlighted the dangers of reckless driving and speeding on national highways. Investigators are expected to examine CCTV footage from the area, inspect the damaged vehicles, and record statements from eyewitnesses to determine the sequence of events that led to the deadly accident
