Achievers Group gets to work: Know the 16 committees at Jullundur Gymkhana

The Achievers Group won the Jullundur Gymkhana Club elections held on August 30 and has constituted 16 committees to ensure the smooth functioning of the Club

The Achievers Group, which won the Jullundur Gymkhana Club elections held on August 30, has constituted 16 committees to ensure the smooth functioning of the Club and manage its routine affairs. The committees have been formed as per the proposal of the Honorary Secretary and will oversee different areas of the Club’s operations.

The Purchase & Disposal Committee will be headed by Sh. Mohinder Singh as Chairman, with Sh. Rajieve Bansal as Co-Chairman. The Catering Committee will be headed by Sh. Shaleen Joshi, with Smt. Vinnie Dhawan as Co-Chairman, while the Bar Committee will have Sh. Nitin Behl as Chairman and Sh. Atul Talwar as Co-Chairman.

The Tambola & Entertainment Committee will be headed by Prof. Vipan Jhanji, with Sh. M.B. Bali as Co-Chairman. The Gym & Health Club Committee will have Sh. Mohinder Singh as Chairman and Smt. Shalini Kalra as Co-Chairman. The Outdoor Sports Committee will be headed by Sh. M.B. Bali (GPL), with Sh. Jubin Shangari as Co-Chairman, while the Indoor Sports Committee will have Sh. Rajive Bansal as Chairman and Sh. Jubin Shangari as Co-Chairman.

The Housekeeping Committee will be headed by Smt. Shalini Kalra, with Smt. Vinnie Dhawan as Co-Chairman. The Library Committee will have Smt. Vinnie Dhawan as Chairman and Sh. Rajieve Bansal as Co-Chairman. The Landscaping and Horticulture Committee will be headed by Sh. Jubin Shangari, with Smt. Shalini Kalra as Co-Chairman. The Card Room Committee will have Sh. Atul Talwar as Chairman and Sh. M.B. Bali as Co-Chairman.

The Humanitarian & Social Cause Committee will be headed by Prof. Vipan Jhanji, with Sh. Rajieve Bansal as Co-Chairman. The Hospitality, Staff Management & Valet Committee will have Sh. Nitin Behl as Chairman and Sh. Shaleen Joshi as Co-Chairman. The Legal Affairs Committee will be headed by Sh. Rajive Bansal, with Sh. Nitin Behl as Co-Chairman. The Infrastructure, Maintenance and Green Committee will have Sh. Mohinder Singh as Chairman and Sh. Atul Talwar as Co-Chairman, while the Discipline Committee will be headed by Sh. Rajieve Bansal, with Sh. Nitin Behl as Co-Chairman.

The Club has stated that all 16 committees will function strictly in accordance with its rules and by-laws. Their functioning will be reviewed from time to time, while the Honorary Secretary will regularly supervise their activities and report to the President in case of any issue or problem.
