A case of vehicle theft has once again raised concerns over the safety of parked two-wheelers in Patiala's Choti Baradari locality after a white Honda Activa was reportedly stolen in broad daylight on Sunday.
Details of the stolen activa
According to the owner, Sukhwinder Singh, a resident of Bhawanigarh in Sangrur district, his white Honda Activa (2018 model), bearing registration number PB 84 0319, went missing while it was parked outside a fashion designing institute in Choti Baradari.
Series of events
Sharing details of the incident, Singh said he had parked the scooter at around 1 pm before attending work in the area. However, when he returned approximately two hours later, around 3 pm, the vehicle had disappeared. Despite searching the nearby surroundings, he was unable to locate it.

The incident has left the owner distressed, prompting him to seek help from the public in tracing the stolen scooter. He has appealed to anyone who comes across the white Honda Activa with registration number PB 84 0319 to immediately contact him.

Beyond his personal loss, Singh also alleged that vehicle thefts have become a recurring problem in the Choti Baradari area. He claimed that eight to ten two-wheelers are reportedly stolen every Sunday, alleging that despite repeated incidents, effective action has not been taken to curb the problem.
