Amritsar Police cracks down on the NRI woman murder case and successfully apprehends the accused in the NRI women murder case. The accused Mandeep Singh, had fled after killing his wife in a hotel in Amritsar. The police traced him to Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan and have taken him into custody for three days.
Reportedly, the NRI woman was found murdered in a hotel located on the Court Road. The deceased was identified as Prabhjot Kaur, a resident of Varraich village in Gurdaspur district. The woman had just recently returned from Austria along with her husband and seven-month-old son. Police had booked the victim’s husband who was absconding at that time.
According to the family members of the deceased, the accused, Mandeep Singh Dhillon was suspicious of Prabhjot Kaur’s character. The family members report that there were frequent quarrels among them due to the suspicious nature of the accused. Allegedly, the couple was residing in Austria and had just recently returned to India for organizing a religious ceremony for their son.
As of now, further probe into the case in underway.
