The robbery case that took place in Jalandhar's Bhargav Camp area in broad daylight has been solved after the arrest of all three robbers. Now, Jalandhar Police are making sure that all other people involved in the case are also arrested.
As per information received, in the Jalandhar Bhargav Camp robbery case, the Police have arrested another accused named Somnath. Somnath is said to be a resident of New Suraj Ganj, Jalandhar.
Investigations have revealed that Somnath conducted a recce of Vijay Jewellers before the robbery and informed the main accused.
On the morning of October 30th, Somnath went to the shop as soon as it opened to assess the situation. He noticed that the owner, Ajay Kumar's son, was alone in the shop. He then called the main accused, Kushal, and informed him. Shortly thereafter, Kushal arrived with his accomplices, armed with weapons, looted the jewellery and cash, and fled.
The police have already arrested four accused, including Kushal, while Somnath had been absconding since the incident.
As per reports, accused Kushal and his accomplices spent a large portion of the looted money on drugs and debauchery in hotels. All of the accused were drug addicts and notorious for brawling in the area.
Police are currently investigating who else was involved with Somnath in the recce.
