Punjab Weather has left the state's residents confused. While during the night time and early morning, residents are witnessing shivering weather, in the afternoon the day time temperature is exceeding 30°C reminding people of April-like weather.
As per IMD Chandigarh's daily temperature recordings Bathinda witnessing the hottest afternoon at 30.3°C on November 19, 2025. The Weather Department stated that as compared to November 18, Punjab Weather witnessed rise in temperature by a minor 0.1°C.
Other districts are also witnessing similar afternoon temperature. Fazilka witnessed 28.3°C maximum temperature, Amritsar witnessed 25.5°C, Ludhiana witnessed 26.9°C, Patiala 27.5°C, Pathankot 26.5°C, Faridkot 27.5, etc.
Notably, similar weather patterns or temperature are witnessed in the month of March and April. Although night time temperature in single digits are keeping the winter vibe in the state, maximum temperature during the afternoon is reminding people about the month of March and April.
As per reports, daytime temperatures are touching around 30°C in parts of North India, including Punjab, in mid–late November 2025 are due to multiple factors.
The factors are- brief warm spell driven by clear skies, weak or absent active western disturbances, and post-disturbance subsidence that boosts sunshine and daytime heating despite colder nights.
It is pertinent to mention here that reports suggest that Western Disturbance is likely to be active in Punjab after November 24. In fact, there is prediction of rainfall in Punjab in early December as per AccuWeather, especially on December 4 and December 5.
