Political uproar over the video controversy involving former Delhi Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Atishi is escalating. Now, the Chief Minister of Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann has stepped in and commented on the same. CM Mann states that if a forensics probe has already taken place then why is there a demand for a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to step in.
The dispute took this turn following the Delhi Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) report. CM Mann says that the video had been deliberately misrepresented with misleading subtitles. He says that it was a direct insult and a distortion of facts. He further asserts that if not satisfied with the forensics probe then CBI can step in a conduct a probe of their own.
