A food safety concern has surfaced in Jalandhar after a video claiming that a worm was found inside a burger purchased from Hari Burger went viral on social media.
The video was reportedly shared by a youngster identified as Vikas, who claimed that he had ordered a creamy burger from the outlet in Jalandhar West and took it home.
Customer claims worm was found in burger
According to the viral video, Vikas said that after opening the packed burger at home, he noticed what appeared to be a worm (sundi) inside it. He recorded the alleged finding and uploaded the video on social media.
The customer further claimed that the outlet would not accept that the worm had been found in the burger, prompting him to share the matter publicly.
Hari Burger’s response yet to come
As of now, no statement from the operators of Hari Burger has surfaced regarding the allegation. The claim circulating online has therefore not been independently verified.
The viral video has nevertheless sparked discussion among customers, particularly over food hygiene and safety standards at eateries.
