The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Punjab on Sunday announced its new state office bearers after the approval of National President Nitin Nabin. State BJP President Sardar Kewal Singh Dhillon unveiled the new organisational team, aimed at strengthening the party’s structure and expanding its outreach across Punjab ahead of upcoming political and organisational responsibilities.
The party appointed 12 State Vice Presidents, including Surjit Kumar Jyani, Rakesh Rathour, Subhash Sharma, Manjit Singh Rai, Ashwani Sekhri, Sushil Rinku, Geja Ram Valmiki, Tejinder Singh Bittu, Jasmine Sandhawalia, Jatinder Mittal, Ravi Karan Singh Kahlon and Ranjit Singh Gill.
Five leaders have been named as State General Secretaries — Anil Sarin, Rajesh Bagha, Parminder Singh Brar, Rajnish Dhiman and Jiwan Garg.
The BJP also appointed 12 State Secretaries, including Manjit Singh Manna, Mangat Rai Bansal, Rakesh Sharma, Suraj Bhardwaj, Vandana Sangwal, Meenu Sethi, Ranjam Kamra, Charanjeet Singh Brar, Kamalpreet Kaur Chaudhary, Meena Tarnaich, Amarjit Singh Amri and Ekta Nagpal.
For key organisational responsibilities, Gurdev Sharma (Debi) has been appointed State Treasurer, Sukhwinder Singh Goldy as State Co-Treasurer, Khushwant Rai Giga and Sanjeev Khanna as State Protocol Secretaries, while Sukhvinder Singh Parmar has been named State Office Secretary.
In the party’s digital and communication setup, Kanwar Inderjeet Singh has been appointed State IT Convener, while Ajay Arora will serve as State Convener of Social Media.
The BJP also announced the presidents of its various Morchas. Anuj Khosla has been appointed State President of the Yuva Morcha, Biba Jai Inder Kaur of the Mahila Morcha, Lakhwinder Singh of the Kisan Morcha, Sheetal Angural of the SC Morcha and Shivraj Chudhary of the OBC Morcha.
Strengthening its media and communication wing, the party appointed S.S. Channi as Chief Spokesperson, Vineet Joshi as State Media Head, while Pritpal Singh Baliawal and Parampal Kaur Sidhu have been named State Media Co-Incharges.
For organisational coordination, Bikramjit Singh Cheema has been appointed State Cell Coordinator, while Harwinder Singh Sandhu, Bhanu Partap Singh and Kanwarveer Singh Tohra will serve as State Cell Co-Coordinators.
