A high-speed i20 car caused panic in Jalandhar’s posh Urban Estate area after it went out of control and crashed into the DG Mark Media showroom. The accident took place around 3 am on 9th August. Fortunately, the showroom was closed at the time and no one was present inside. Otherwise, the incident could have resulted in a major tragedy.
Damages in the accident
The incident caused significant damage to the showroom, with furniture, glass and other items inside the premises being damaged. A video of the incident has also surfaced.
People in the car
Two elderly people were travelling in the car at the time of the accident and sustained minor injuries. Glass was scattered throughout the showroom, while several other items were also damaged.
What happened after the incident?
Following the accident, a crane was used to pull the car out of the showroom. The driver said that he would bear the entire cost of the damage caused to the showroom. As a result, the showroom owner did not initiate any legal action.
Information about the car
According to the information, the car bearing registration number PB-08-DB-5412 went out of control late at night and crashed into the showroom. The driver also spoke about the incident, saying that the car had collided with the shop and that he would personally compensate for all the losses caused.
Personal compensation of the damage
The showroom owner said the car driver had handed over the vehicle’s keys and documents to him and assured him that he would return in the morning to compensate for the damage caused to the showroom.
