Chandigarh Police sends notice to AAP Punjab Chief Aman Arora over edited video controversy

Chandigarh Police has sent a notice to Aam Aadmi Party's Punjab President Aman Arora seeking his response. On the complaint of opposition leader Pratap Singh Bajwa, an FIR was registered against two ministers of the AAP government for editing and making the video viral, in which Arora's role is also under investigation.

On this complaint, an FIR was registered against Punjab AAP chief and minister Aman Arora and Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema at Sector-3 police station in Chandigarh on Thursday (July 11). A case has been registered under sections 336 (4), 356 and 61 (2).

A few days ago Pratap Singh Bajwa had posted a video on social media regarding the arrest of Shiromani Akali Dal leader and former minister Bikram Singh Majithia.

A notice has been sent to Punjab AAP chief Aman Arora, in which full details of his entire media team i.e. the one who handles the social media of AAP Punjab have been sought, so that it can be known who posted the video of Bikram Singh Majithia.
