Development works gain new momentum: Nitin Kohli launches projects worth Lakhs in Wards 11 and 19

Inauguration of Ganesh Nagar Park; Construction of Shed in Dhilwan Shiv Puri and Roadworks on Ladowali Road Begin

Giving fresh impetus to development activities in the Jalandhar Central constituency, Halka In-charge Nitin Kohli has launched several significant development projects across various localities. These projects are set to provide residents of the area with improved civic amenities.

During these events, Nitin Kohli inaugurated a park in Ganesh Nagar (Ward No. 11), set to be constructed at a cost of approximately ₹30.34 lakhs. Senior Deputy Mayor Balbir Singh Bittu, Vicky Tulsi, Amardeep Singh Kinnu, and a large number of local residents were present on this occasion. Expressing their delight over the construction of the park, residents remarked that it would provide children and the elderly with a better space for walks and recreation.

Additionally, construction work for a shed—estimated at a cost of approximately ₹40 lakhs—was initiated in the Dhilwan Shiv Puri area of ​​Ward No. 11. This facility will provide local residents with a convenient venue for organizing social gatherings and community-oriented events.

Furthermore, road construction work—estimated at a cost of approximately ₹25.22 lakhs—was commenced on Ladowali Road in Ward No. 19. Ward In-charge Dr. Rajesh Babbar, senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Ram Murti, and all local residents were present at this event.

Speaking on the occasion, Nitin Kohli stated that strengthening civic infrastructure in every locality of Jalandhar Central is his top priority. He emphasized that projects involving roads, parks, and other public welfare initiatives are being prioritized with the specific needs of the people in mind.

He articulated his vision to transform Jalandhar Central into a clean, modern, and well-developed region—one where the benefits of development reach every neighborhood and residents enjoy an enhanced quality of life.

He gave his assurance that similar development initiatives would continue to be undertaken in Jalandhar Central in the times to come.
