Marking four years of the Aam Aadmi Party government, a large-scale public outreach campaign is being carried out in Jalandhar Central. As part of this initiative, constituency in-charge Nitin Kohli is holding meetings across various wards to take the government’s achievements directly to the people.

Sharing details, Kohli said that nearly a dozen meetings have been conducted over the past two days in wards 5, 6, 9, 19, 27, 65, 66, 67 and 70. During these interactions, residents were engaged in direct conversations and informed in detail about the developmental works undertaken by the government.

He highlighted that the government has modernized government schools in the education sector, provided major relief in healthcare through free treatment and Mohalla Clinics, and made significant improvements in infrastructure.

During the meetings, people were also made aware of key government schemes. They were informed that under the “Chief Minister Health Scheme,” families are being provided health insurance coverage of up to ₹10 lakh. Additionally, under the “Mothers-Daughters Honour Scheme,” women will soon start receiving ₹1,000, while women from the SC community will be provided ₹1,500 as financial assistance.

At the same time, residents’ issues are being heard on the spot and resolved promptly to ensure that people do not face inconvenience and government services reach them directly.
