Gujranwala Jewellers Bholu Shah Group’s new drive seeks to rekindle Jalandhar’s lost connections

“Apne Toh Apne Hain,” campaign revisits legacy of artists, musicians, entrepreneurs & people who have contributed to the cultural & social identity of Jalandhar

Gujranwala Jewellers (Bholu Shah Group) hosted a press conference at Best Western, Jalandhar, to launch its new social campaign “Apne Toh Apne Hain”, an initiative aimed at reconnecting the younger generation with the roots, heritage and cultural identity of old Jalandhar.

The campaign seeks to celebrate Jalandhar’s rich legacy of art, music, culture, entrepreneurship and talent, while bringing forward the stories of people who have been connected with the city and its evolution over the years.

The press conference was addressed by three representatives of the Bholu Shah Group, Raman Jain, Chintan Jain and Pankaj Takkar — who elaborated on the vision behind the campaign and emphasised the importance of reconnecting the younger generation with the heritage, culture and legacy of old Jalandhar.

According to the group, old Jalandhar has historically been a hub of artists, musicians, entrepreneurs and people from diverse fields who have contributed to the cultural and social identity of the city. Through “Apne Toh Apne Hain,” the group aims to revisit that legacy and introduce younger generations to the personalities, stories and memories that have shaped Jalandhar.

Connecting Jalandhar and its global community

The campaign will primarily be taken forward through social media platforms, where the organisers plan to share stories and conversations featuring people associated with Jalandhar.

The initiative also seeks participation from Jalandhar residents and the wider Punjabi community, including the large NRI community with roots in the Doaba region. Through these interactions, the campaign aims to highlight how several well-known and accomplished personalities from different fields have their roots in Jalandhar.

The organisers are inviting people to share their own memories, experiences and connections with the city, creating a larger conversation around Jalandhar’s cultural and social legacy.

Prominent personalities extend support

Several known personalities associated with Jalandhar have already joined hands with the campaign. The team has recorded bytes and conversations with Mr. Vinesh Jain, Mr. Sanjeev Vasal, Mr. Manoranjan Kalia, Mr. Ashwani Kumar, Mr. Satinder Vir Hans, Mrs. Purnima Beri and Mr. Dina Nath Kulche Wale.

Their participation forms an important part of the campaign’s effort to create wider social awareness and encourage more people from Jalandhar and the Punjabi community worldwide to become part of the initiative.

Among the personalities participating in the campaign, Mr. Sanjeev Vasal is associated with Vasal Education, while Mrs. Purnima Beri is associated with Leader Valves. Mr. Satinder Vir Hans is associated with Zoloto Valves. Public company records also list Satinder Vir Hans as a director of Zoloto Valves Private Limited.

The campaign will use these conversations to bring forward personal experiences, memories and perspectives about Jalandhar and its changing identity.

A relationship built across generations

The “Apne Toh Apne Hain” campaign also reflects Gujranwala Jewellers’ longstanding relationship with families in Jalandhar.

Sharing the thought behind the initiative, the group said that relationships built over generations do not become old with time but grow deeper.

For Gujranwala Jewellers, jewellery has traditionally been connected with some of the most important moments in a family’s life, from weddings and celebrations to milestones and traditions passed from one generation to another.

The group believes that over the years, this association has evolved beyond a business relationship into one based on trust, familiarity and a sense of belonging.

The central thought of the campaign is captured in the line:

The group said that “Apne Toh Apne Hain” represents its effort to carry this legacy of trust and belonging into the future while bringing together the old and new generations of Jalandhar.

A new chapter for Gujranwala Jewellers

The campaign also marks a new chapter for Gujranwala Jewellers (Bholu Shah Group), with the group set to unveil its renewed jewellery store at the same location on October 11.

The new store marks a fresh phase for the brand while continuing the legacy and values associated with its longstanding relationship with the people of Jalandhar.

With “Apne Toh Apne Hain,” the Bholu Shah Group aims to create a platform where generations can reconnect with Jalandhar’s past, celebrate its people and culture, and share the stories that continue to make the city a part of their identity.

It is a new chapter, but the story is the same. It is a new beginning, but we all are our own.
