Haryana youth stuck in Russia-Ukraine war, seeks help to return home

These stuck people are now urging the Indian government to act and repatriate them safely.

The conflict between Russia and Ukraine has lasted for over 3 years, but the conflict continues. A lot of Indian citizens are stuck in this conflict and are also calling on the Indian government to return them.

The same video of Harminder, a guy from Jalandhar in Punjab, being conscripted into the Russian army 4 days ago, and now this video of Anoop Kumar, a local from Chhatar in Haryana, getting injured in the fight has surfaced. Anup Kumar has posted a video indicating that he has been fired upon and his injured state is being treated at the hospital and he was forcibly enrolled in the Russian Army and now he is requesting the Indian government to have him repatriated. Anup, having been injured in the war, has also posted a video of the border conditions and forwarded it.

Area Congress and BJP leaders have responded to the youth recruited in the Russian army there in the Russia-Ukraine war. Congress MLAs Prakash Singh and Sukhwinder Singh Kotli asserted that in the war between Russia and Ukraine, most of our Indian youths have been hospitalized in the Russian Army and are being deployed for fighting the front line on the border. He stated that the Government of India should take note of this issue and repatriate our stranded Indian citizens from there. The two MLAs stated that the Modi government is merely a government of words as till now the central government has done nothing to repatriate Indian citizens who are stranded in the Russia-Ukraine war. He opined that the government at the center and the foreign ministry need to sit down with the Russian government to attempt to return the Indian nationals stuck there.

 Concurrently, he also added that Indians should travel abroad keeping in mind because such a thing has come to light due to which they should learn a lesson now. Meanwhile, ex-BJP minister Manohar Kalia opined that the Indian government will attempt to repatriate the Indian citizens by coordinating with the Russian administration, though the situation should also be inquired about there and also expressed that the Indian government stands with its citizens and he has also requested Prime Minister Modi to repatriate Indian citizens from there.
