Health card registration camp starts in Rama Mandi, direct relief for the public: Nitin Kohli

Camp address: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Office, Rama Mandi — Near Burger King Market, close to Johal Hospital

Aam Aadmi Party senior leader and Jalandhar Central in-charge, Nitin Kohli, announced that a Health Card registration camp has been started today at the Aam Aadmi Party office in Rama Mandi, located near the Burger King market and close to Johal Hospital, with the aim of making the Punjab government's historic health scheme directly and easily accessible to the common people. He said that this camp will provide great convenience and relief to the people living in Rama Mandi and surrounding areas.

Nitin Kohli informed that this registration process was previously being successfully conducted at the party's main office, where a large number of people visited to get information about the health card and register themselves. Considering the positive public response and increasing demand, this facility has now been extended to the Rama Mandi office—near the Burger King market, close to Johal Hospital—so that the general public does not face any inconvenience in availing the benefits of this scheme.

He said that this camp has been started especially for the poor, middle class, industrial workers, and families living in Rama Mandi and surrounding colonies. This initiative has been taken entirely keeping in mind the help and convenience of the public.

Nitin Kohli said that this health scheme implemented by the Punjab government is the biggest health revolution in the history of the country. He informed that in the past few days, during his visits to his office and various health camps, he interacted directly with hundreds of people, and the public openly praised the government for this scheme. The public's response clearly shows that they are very happy and enthusiastic about this initiative.

He said that what no state or government could do in decades, the Aam Aadmi Party's Punjab government and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann have accomplished. Today, 3 crore Punjabis have been provided with health cards worth up to ₹10 lakh without any conditions, limitations, or discrimination, ensuring that families will not bear the financial burden of treating serious illnesses.

Nitin Kohli explained that under this scheme, treatment and surgeries for more than 2,000 diseases, including knee replacement, kidney transplant, heart disease, and cancer, are completely free and cashless. Over 900 hospitals in Punjab and Chandigarh are empaneled under this scheme, providing people with better and safer treatment within their own state.

He said that public feedback clearly shows that this scheme has emerged as a life-changing relief for the poor, middle class, and people in the industrial sector. People say that illness is no longer a financial crisis for them.

Nitin Kohli stated that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's vision is clear and far-sighted. This scheme is not limited to today's needs but lays a strong foundation for the health and well-being of Punjabis in the future. The health infrastructure, hospital network, cashless facility, and patient management have been organized in such a way that the common citizen can receive dignified and safe treatment.

He said that while general health insurance policies have many conditions and complex procedures, this health policy of the Aam Aadmi Party government is equal, simple, and transparent for every Punjabi. This is why the public considers it a historic and pro-people initiative.

Nitin Kohli appealed to the people of Rama Mandi and surrounding areas to take maximum advantage of the health card registration camp set up at the Aam Aadmi Party office in Rama Mandi —near Burger King market, close to Johal Hospital—and join this historic scheme of the Punjab government.
