At the 8th Annual Awards Ceremony 2025 organized by Hockey India in Delhi, Hockey Punjab, led by its President and Hockey India Vice President Nitin Kohli, achieved a major success by being named the Best Association (State Unit) of the country. Under this honor, Hockey Punjab was awarded a prize amount of ₹2.50 lakh.
In addition, for their outstanding performance in the national championship, Hockey Punjab received a separate award of ₹10 lakh, which is a proud moment for hockey in Punjab.
On this occasion, top hockey players were awarded crores of rupees, recognizing their achievements. Hockey Punjab’s General Secretary Harmik Singh and Co-President Balwinder Shami were also present at the ceremony.
Nitin Kohli said that participating in this awards ceremony was a proud and inspiring moment for him.
