A horrific road accident involving a PUNBUS was reported shortly after the bus left Hoshiarpur while travelling towards Chandigarh Sector 43. The collision left the bus severely damaged, with its front portion completely wrecked. Despite the frightening impact, only four to five passengers reportedly sustained minor injuries.
Terrifying Scene Leaves Onlookers Shocked
The condition of the bus at the accident site was so alarming that onlookers initially feared that the crash may have resulted in major casualties. The front section of the bus was badly damaged, leaving passersby deeply concerned about the safety of those travelling inside.
People gathered at the spot and began enquiring about the condition of the passengers after seeing the extent of the damage.
SSF and Ambulances Rush to the Spot
As soon as information about the accident was received, the Punjab Road Safety Force (SSF) team, along with four to five ambulances, reached the spot without delay. Rescue teams acted swiftly to evacuate passengers who were trapped inside the damaged bus and ensured they were brought out safely.
Despite the severity of the collision and the extensive damage to the vehicle, no major loss of life was reported, while four to five passengers suffered minor injuries.
