Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 10 will inaugurate three new Vande Bharat Express Trains. One of them is Amritsar to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra. Interestingly, Amritsar-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra will have a stoppage at Jalandhar City Railway Station.
This is among those rare instances when Jalandhar City Railway Station has got a stoppage of Vande Bharat Express. Delhi-Amritsar Vande Bharat Express has a stoppage at Jalandhar Cantt and not at Jalandhar City Railway Station.
Yes! you heard it right. Amritsar to Katra Vande Bharat Train (26405) will depart from Amritsar at 4:25 pm and will reach Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 10 pm.
The new Vande Bharat train from Amritsar will reach Jalandhar City at 5:31 pm and will reach Katra at 10 pm via Pathankot Cantt and Jammu Tawi.
Notably, Katra to Amritsar Vande Bharat Train (26406) will depart from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 6: 40 am and will reach Jalandhar City 11:01 am and ultimately conclude its journey on Amritsar Railway Station at 12:20 pm. The total distance new Punjab Vande Bharat will cover is 367.82.
The other two Vande Bharat Express that will be inaugurated are- Bengaluru from Belgavi and Pune from Ajani in Nagpur.
