At least 23 areas of Jalandhar to witness electricity cut on July 27; Check list and reason

As per reports, Jalandhar Electricity Cut on July 27 is due to essential repairs at the TV electricity substation. When TV Electricity Substation will undergo, the areas coming under it will witness electricity cut for at least 2 hours.

To be precise, power outage is expected to be from 6 am to 8 am in the TV electricity substation. Below is a list of areas that will be impacted-

  • Tej Mohan Nagar

  • Ashok Nagar

  • Dayal Nagar

  • Basti Sheikh Adda

  • Chhitta School

  • Avatar Nagar

  • Mochian Mohalla and surrounding areas.

Jalandhar Electricity Cut on Sunday

Apart from TV Electricity Substation, the Sadiq substation will also be shutdown for at least 2 hours. The timing will be 10 am to 12 pm. Below is a list of areas that will undergo power outage tomorrow-

  • Kashi Nagar

  • Green Avenue

  • Thind Enclave

  • Ishwar Colony

  • Guru Nanak Nagar

Jalandhar residents can now now report power issues

DC Jalandhar Dr Himanshu Aggarwal, recently shared helpline numbers to make the process of filing a complaint related to the electricity issue easier through WhatsApp or just a missed call.

According to Dr. Aggarwal, for the first time, the consumers can register their complaint by calling the toll-free number 1912 and then sending an SMS reading “no supply.”

Apart from this, the customers can also register the complaint via the PSPCL Consumer Service App or by giving a missed call on the toll-free number 1800-180-1512.

While providing another way to log complaints, DC Jalandhar said that residents can also log complaints by sending a message on WhatsApp at 96461-01912.
