Residents of several localities in Jalandhar should prepare for a temporary power outage on Saturday, August 1, as the Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) has announced a scheduled shutdown of the 11 KV Dakoha Feeder and 11 KV Central Mill Feeder for maintenance work.
Duration of the shutdown
According to the official notice, the power supply will remain suspended from 8:30 am to 11:00 am to facilitate essential maintenance and ensure the smooth functioning of the electricity distribution network.

PSPCL has advised residents in these localities to plan their activities accordingly, especially those dependent on uninterrupted electricity for household or business operations.
The power utility has expressed regret for the inconvenience caused and stated that the temporary outage is necessary to carry out maintenance work aimed at improving the reliability and efficiency of the power supply.
Consumers are requested to cooperate with the department during the scheduled shutdown. If the maintenance work is completed earlier than expected, electricity supply may be restored before the scheduled time.
