Jalandhar teen helps aspiring creators find a foothold in brand collaborations

The work connects creators seeking commercial opportunities with brands, giving them a route to pursue paid assignments through their content.

A venture founded by city teenager Hakam Singh is helping content creators find businesses willing to collaborate with them, addressing a practical hurdle in earning online: access to brand partnerships.

Through Influgro, Singh says he has helped facilitate more than 100 brand deals. The work connects creators seeking commercial opportunities with brands, giving them a route to pursue paid assignments through their content.

Finding such opportunities is a recognised industry challenge. EY’s 2024 State of Influencer Marketing in India report identified securing brand partnerships among the leading difficulties faced by surveyed creators, alongside growing a loyal audience and maintaining credibility. The findings highlight the work involved beyond producing and publishing content.

Singh began Influgro while studying in Class 9. According to figures he provided, the venture has generated more than ₹1.2 lakh in revenue since its launch.

Its assistance also extends to creators developing their skills. Singh reports that more than 500 creators have accessed educational content from established Indian content creators through Influgro.

This educational offering sits alongside the venture’s work arranging commercial collaborations. For aspiring creators, the intention is to provide support with both learning the craft and finding opportunities to earn from it.

The Jalandhar teenager’s initiative places these practical needs at the centre of its work: access to experienced creators’ knowledge and connections with potential commercial partners.
