Jalandhar weather update; Temperature may touch 38°C before thunderstorms bring relief next week

A rainfall is predicted in the city during commit Tuesday and Wednesday, with the percentage probability of 40-45%.

The upcoming few days will witness an increase in temperature in Jalandhar, and there may be an increase up to 38° C on sunny and clear days, according to the latest Apple Weather report.

In today's date that is 8th May, Jalandhar had cloudy weather, but there was no rainfall today. The temperature varied from 22 degrees to 34 degrees Celsius in the day-time.

Tomorrow on Saturday, there will be an increase up to 37 degrees Celsius.

Similar weather trends will be maintained as on Saturday and Monday.

But finally as per the weather forecast by Apple weather, rain shower is expected as the trends indicate 40% precipitation in the area. Similar weather condition will be on Wednesday. 

And from Thrusday, again the temperatures are expected to rise. In the upcoming days, i.e. from Friday to Sunday temperatures are expected to reach 40 degree, with almost zero rain fall chances. 

Although according to the IMD weather report, it is claimed that may be the May month of this year 2026 can expect comparatively more rain that the previous years. 

Altogether in India also, state and cities are experiencing pre monsoon as the nation awaits for Monsoon 2026 amid the scroaching hot weather. In Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh the cities observed wind storms and rainfall, while it is also claims that the cities witness a drop by 10 degree celsius. 

Overall the weather trends for North India indicate, high temperature during the day time, with scroaching heat but at the same rain showers can be expected at certain intervals, as teh pre monsoon rain at almost knocked the doors. The persistent rainfall is expected to bring some relief to the sates of North India specifically. 

Residents are advised to take precautions during peak afternoon hours as hot weather conditions continue across the region.
