The results of the Jullundur Gymkhana Club Elections 2026 have been declared, with the Achievers Group emerging as the dominant force in the election. The group secured all four key office-bearer positions and also won eight of the 10 Executive Member seats.
The final list released by the Office of the Returning Officer, Jullundur Gymkhana Club, Jalandhar, includes 10 elected Executive Members. Of these, eight are from the Achievers Group, while Prof. Vipan Jhanji and Shaleen Joshi, who represent the Progressive Group, have also been elected.10 Executive Members elected
Prof. Vipan Jhanji topped the Executive Member contest with 1,306 votes, followed by Shalini Kalra with 1,189 votes and Nitin Behl with 1,082 votes.
Jubin Shangari secured 1,068 votes, while Shaleen Joshi polled 1,029 votes. Mohinder Singh received 1,024 votes, followed by Atul Talwar with 999 votes and Vinnie Sharma Dhawan with 998 votes.
M.B. Bali secured 947 votes, while Rajive Bansal (C.A.) received 927 votes.

Of the 10 elected Executive Members, Shalini Kalra, Nitin Behl, Jubin Shangari, Mohinder Singh, Atul Talwar, Vinnie Sharma Dhawan, M.B. Bali and Rajive Bansal (C.A.) are from the Achievers Group.
Prof. Vipan Jhanji and Shaleen Joshi have also secured seats as Executive Members, completing the 10-member elected panel.
Achievers Group wins all four key positions
The Executive Member results come after the Achievers Group’s decisive performance in the four key office-bearer positions.
Dheeraj Seth was elected Junior Vice President, while Amit Kukreja won the Honorary Secretary post. Saurabh Khullar secured the Treasurer position, while Harpreet Singh ‘Goldy’ was elected Joint Secretary after the opposing candidate withdrew from the contest.
Amit Kukreja registered the biggest victory among the contested key posts, securing 2,074 votes and winning by a margin of 1,720 votes.
Dheeraj Seth secured 1,549 votes and won by 486 votes, while Saurabh Khullar polled 1,569 votes to register a winning margin of 508 votes.
Harpreet Singh ‘Goldy’ had secured the Joint Secretary position unopposed following the withdrawal of the opposing candidate, who cited health concerns.

Six candidates contested for the 10 Executive Member positions but could not make it to the final list of elected members.
Rishu Jhanji received 904 votes, followed by Captain Raman Singh with 728 votes and Gagan Deep Uppal with 700 votes.
Adv. Tarnjot Singh Sidana polled 662 votes, while Jasmeet Singh Chabra received 347 votes and Maninder Singh Bedi secured 310 votes.
A clear mandate for the new leadership
The final election results have given the Jullundur Gymkhana Club a new management team with the Achievers Group holding a clear majority across the key positions.
With Dheeraj Seth, Amit Kukreja, Harpreet Singh ‘Goldy’ and Saurabh Khullar taking charge of the four key posts, alongside eight Achievers Group representatives among the Executive Members, the new leadership will now be responsible for taking forward the club’s activities, members’ welfare, sports programmes and other initiatives.
