Punjabi singer Karan Aujla is riding the horse of success after delivering back to back chartbuster songs. Karan Aujla has been hogging headlines for his recently released song For A Reason. The song has become internet's favourite with fans using it for their reels and also going viral.
Now, Karan Aujla is all set to add another feather into his cap of list of achievement. Karan Aujla is all set to become only the second Punjabi artist to perform at the famous Jimmy Fallon's talk show.
Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight Show confirmed Karan Aujla's perfomance on Instagram with a post that reads, "@karanaujla makes his US TV debut on Tuesday, September 9th to perform a medley of “Boyfriend” & “Gabhru!”
Karan Aujla also confirmed the buzz by resharing the story on his Instagram story writing 'Tuesday with an emoji'.
Notably, Karan Aujla's Gabhru song has been marred with controversy over objectionable lyrics. In fact, Punjab's Women Commission had also summoned the Punjabi singer for the use of word in his song that was derogatory towards women. Karan Aujla in response apologised to PWC Chairperson over phone call and assured that he will visit the office whenever he returns to Punjab.
Before Karan Aujla, it was Diljit Dosanjh who performed at The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Diljit was the first Punjabi singer to make his US TV debut. Diljit performed at The Tonight Show in June 2024.
