Karwa Chauth celebration in Barnala turns tragic after woman collapses while dancing, Watch

The woman, identified as Asha, suffered a sudden cardiac arrest during Karwachauth celebrations and was declared dead at the hospital

A tragic incident took place in Punjab’s Barnala district during a Karwa Chauth celebration when a woman suddenly suffered a heart attack while dancing at a party. She collapsed on the spot and passed away. The incident occurred on the night of Karwa Chauth, and now, a video of the heartbreaking moment has surfaced online.

Just moments before the heart attack, the woman was seen joyfully dancing to a punjabi song. After the woman collapsed, her husband rushed her to a nearby hospital. However, doctors declared her dead on arrival, stating that she had already passed away before reaching the facility.

The viral video reveals that the Karwa Chauth celebration was being held in an open courtyard, where a dance floor had been set up. Several women and girls were seen dancing to Punjabi tracks, including Gippy Grewal’s “Akh Laad Gayi.” The woman, identified as Asha, was also seen dancing energetically to the song.

Moments later, Asha appeared to lose her balance. She tried to grab something nearby to steady herself, but there was nothing to hold on to. The other women were busy dancing and didn’t immediately notice her. Within seconds, she fell face-forward onto the floor, leaving everyone in shock.

She was immediately rushed to the hospital, but doctors could not save her. The festive atmosphere quickly turned into mourning as the news of her death spread. 

According to reports, Asha Rani was 59-years old and Daughter-in-law of former councillor Devaraj DhiIwan. She was Sister-in-law of AAP leader and former councillor Budh Ram Kala Dhillon. She was actively known to be involved in social service and politics.
