Kishangarh Petrol Pump firing: Second accused held after encounter in Adampur

This is the second main shooter who was involved in the case that has been arrested after a police encounter in the jurisdiction of Police Station Adampur.

Recently a firing incident took place outside the Kishangarh Petrol Pump on December 19. The incident took place amid a scuffle that erupted during the election of college students of St. Soldier College. Now as per the latest update in the case, the second main shooter involved the case has been arrested after a police encounter in the jurisdiction of Police Station Adampur.

As per the reports, a FIR numbered 207/25 has been registered at the Adampur Police station. Police teams have been constituted under the supervision of DSP Rajiv Kumar, DSP Adampur and Inspector Ravinderpal Singh, SHO police station Adampur.

As per information, the police had received specific secret information regarding the presence of the accused. Based off this information a police team lead by the ASI Parmjit Singh, Incharge Police Post Alawalpur, ASI Kuldeep Singh, Incharge Police Post Jandhu Singha, conducted a search operation in the area nearby Alawalpur.

During this search operation the suspect was successfully intercepted by the police team. As per information, the accused first opened fire at the police to which later the police had to do retaliatory firing. During this exchange of fire, the accused sustained a bullet injury in his right arm. As of now, the accused has been shifted to a nearby hospital where he is undergoing treatment.  

The accused has been identified as Lovepreet Singh alias Lovy, son of Amrik Singh. The accused is the resident of Ward no. 12, Bhulath.

The recoveries made during the operation

The police have made the following recoveries in this operation:

• One pistol (.30 bore)

• Three live cartridges

• Two empty shells

• One motorcycle

Further investigation into the case is underway.
