Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann are scheduled to visit Jalandhar today for a series of engagements focused on trade, public interaction, and community participation.
During the visit, the two leaders will attend a meeting of the Punjab State Traders Commission, constituted by the Punjab Government. The meeting will bring together representatives of various trader and business organizations to discuss issues concerning the welfare, growth, and development of the trading community across the state.
The interaction is expected to provide an opportunity for traders and market associations to share their suggestions and concerns directly with the state leadership. Senior government officials, commission members, and representatives of several business organizations are also expected to participate in the meeting.
Later in the evening, Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann will take part in the Bhagwan Parshuram Jayanti celebrations in Jalandhar. As part of the event, a special “Shiv Sandhya” devotional musical programme dedicated to Lord Shiva will be organized at Sai Das School Ground. The programme is scheduled to commence at 6:30 PM and is expected to witness the participation of a large number of devotees, community members, and dignitaries.
The visit is expected to draw significant public participation, with several senior AAP leaders and local representatives also likely to remain present during the day’s programmes.
