The incident happened in Gholumajra on 17 June, Wednesday, where a nephew killed his uncle over property. The victim is identified as Rahul Malik (45) who is a resident of SBS Derabassi and deals in property.
According to the information obtained, the incident took place on 17 June, 7:45 PM at Jai Ambe Plywood Hardware and construction private limited’ s office. The argument over property was prevailing over a long time but yesterday the nephew allegedly held a gun over his uncle and shot him dead at the moment.
As per the family members, Sahil took his uncle’s blood covered body in a car and ran from the crime scene and has not returned yet. The family is originally from Panipat, Haryana. It is told that Sahil even took the CCTV recordings along with himself because of which police has taken the incident in priority matters.
After knowing about the incident, the police forces from both the districts aligned and started investigating over the incident and has made several raids in search of the accused. This incident has left all the villagers in shock and fear and the police assured to capture the accused as soon as possible.
