With the beginning of March, the Punjab government has declared a list of important holidays.
As per the list of holidays declared by the Punjab government for the month of March, all government offices, schools, and educational institutions in Punjab will remain closed on March 21 (Saturday) on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. Following this, a regular weekend off is scheduled for Sunday (March 22).
Further, the Punjab state government has declared a public holiday on March 23 (Monday) to celebrate the martyrdom day of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and Rajguru. Government offices and educational institutions in Punjab will remain closed to celebrate the martyrdom day of these great freedom fighters.
With this declaration of holidays, Punjab is all set to experience a string of holidays from March 21 to March 23.
