Punjabi singer Mankirt Aulakh has announced Rs 5 crore donations for Punjab flood relief victims. Mankirt Aulakh on Thursday shared a video on his Instagram handle in which he was seen sitting inside a car and going somewhere.
In a selfie video, Mankirt Aulakh shared that he has flood relief teams on ground and is helping people stuck in Punjab Floods.
Aulakh went on to announce that he will donate Rs 5 crore for Punjab flood relief victims. The Punjabi singer has also announced he will donate 100 tractors. Notably, he also talked about arranging flats with 2 bedrooms, 1 kitchen.
Notably, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar also donated Rs 5 crore for Punjab Flood Victims. Akshay Kumar recently in a conversation with Sonal Kalra on her show The Right Angle, had said that he hates the word ‘donation’.
HT quoted Akshay Kumar saying, "I maintain my view on this. Yes, I am giving Rs 5 crores for buying relief material for the Punjab flood victims, but who am I to 'donate' to anyone?"
"I feel blessed when I get an opportunity to extend a helping hand. For me, it's my sewa, my very small contribution. I pray that the natural calamity that has struck my brothers and sisters in Punjab passes soon. Rab mehr kare,"said Akshay Kumar.
