The Punjab Government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, has shown again that it stands strongly with its employees and their families during difficult times. To support the family of the teacher couple from Moga who died in a sad road accident while going for election duty, the state government has released a total help of 20 lakh rupees. Along with this, the government has made a major announcement to pay for the entire education of their children to ensure they have a bright future. The heart-breaking accident happened when teacher Jaskaran Singh was driving his wife, Kamaljit Kaur, to her election duty location. Because of heavy fog and low visibility in the Baghapurana area of Moga, their car went out of control and fell into a deep ditch. Both teachers died in the accident, which has saddened people across the state. Seeing the seriousness of the tragedy, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann took quick action, and the Speaker of the Punjab Assembly, Kultar Singh Sandhwan, visited the family’s home in person. While meeting the family, Speaker Sandhwan said that under the leadership of CM Mann, the government will never leave these children alone or helpless. He promised that the government would pay for all school and college costs so that the dreams their parents had for them can come true. On the orders of the Chief Minister, the local administration has already finished the process to give 10 lakh rupees for each teacher to the family. This quick help and the promise of free education is not just a formality, but a sign of the government’s deep respect for its hard-working employees. The Chief Minister said that the work teachers do to make elections successful is very important, and the state will never forget their sacrifice. The Mann government has shown through real action that it is a government for the common man and is responsible for the welfare of its workers. This kind step has made employees across the state feel more confident that their service and safety are the top priorities of the Punjab Government.
