Writing a new chapter of development in Punjab, the Mann Government has once again reassured the public that its top priority is the welfare of the common.

Writing a new chapter of development in Punjab, the Mann Government has once again reassured the public that its top priority is the welfare of the common people. In the Malout constituency, Cabinet Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur gifted e-rickshaws to 15 needy families, thereby not only providing them with a source of livelihood but also offering them a golden opportunity to move towards a self-reliant life. This initiative has emerged as a ray of hope for the poor and working-class families who have long been struggling with economic challenges.

On this occasion, Dr. Baljit Kaur stated that the Mann Government’s goal is to eradicate poverty and unemployment from the state. The government aims to ensure that no family is left helpless and that every poor and laboring household gets the chance to stand on its own feet. The e-rickshaw scheme is a clear example of this vision, as it provides people not only with employment but also with the dignity and self-respect to live an honorable life.

The most significant feature of this scheme is its emphasis on environmental protection. E-rickshaws are not only pollution-free vehicles but also provide relief from rising fuel costs. In this way, the Mann Government has taken a commendable step towards both employment generation and environmental safety. This vision reflects the government’s commitment to sustainable, long-term development.

Beneficiaries expressed heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and Dr. Baljit Kaur upon receiving the e-rickshaws. They shared that earlier they had no stable means of livelihood, but now they will be able to meet their families’ daily needs with ease. This initiative has boosted their confidence and given them new courage to live with dignity in society.

Through this scheme, the Mann Government has proved that empowering the poor and working class is the true definition of development. Punjab Government’s effort shows that it is not merely making promises but is actively working on the ground. This step will serve as a source of inspiration for thousands of families across the state.

At the e-rickshaw distribution event, Dr. Baljit Kaur assured that the Mann Government will continue to bring forward such schemes for the poor and working class. The primary objective of this government is to make every citizen of Punjab self-reliant and empowered. This is the very reason why today the Mann Government is being called “the people’s government,” which works tirelessly for the welfare of every section of society.
