The answer is yes and no at the same time. Mayasabha is loosely based on true story of Andhra Politics revolving around Kakarla Krishnama Naidu aka KK Naidu and M. S. Rami Reddy aka MSR.
Kakarla Krishnama Naidu aka KK Raidu is played by actor Aadhi Pinisetty, and M.S. Reddy is played by Chaitanya Rao Madadi.
The answer is Chandrababu Naidu who is currently the kingmaker in the Centre and TDP Chief. The character of KK Naidu revolts against his own father-in-law. The current NDA government at the Centre is supported by Chandrababu Naidu’s TDP and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar's JDU party, as the BJP fell short of a full majority.
The series traces how the fictional KK Naidu, starting from a small village, struggles his way into politics. His father-in-law’s character appears inspired by the legendary South Indian actor-turned-politician N.T.
