Ishleen Kaur Dogra a student of Mayor World School has secured the top rank at the national level in the CBSE Class 10 examinations by scoring a perfect 100 percent as the results were declared on Wednesday.
Ishleen scored full marks in Mathematics, Science, English, Data Science and Punjabi. She is the daughter of businessman Mandeep Singh Dogra and homemaker Gunveen Kaur and aims to pursue a career in the medical field.
In Jalandhar district Hemang Arora of Swami Sant Das Public School and Ayana Arora of Cambridge Innovative School jointly secured the second position with 499 out of 500 marks. Hemang scored 100 marks in Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, Hindi and Science and 99 in English. He is the son of dentists Dr Mukesh Arora and Dr Sulakshana Arora and plans to become an Artificial Intelligence engineer and also aims to serve the country through the Civil Services.
Ayana also scored 499 marks achieving 100 marks in Mathematics, English, Data Science and Social Science, and 99 in Computer Science. She is the daughter of psychiatrist Dr Ashmeet Singh and pathologist Dr Garima. She wishes to pursue a career in the medical field.
Gauri Datta of Innocent Hearts School and Dhariti Gupta of Sanskriti KMV School secured the third position in the district with 498 out of 500 marks. Gauri scored 100 marks in Mathematics, Information Technology and Social Sciences and 99 in Hindi and Punjabi. Her parents, Dr Archana Datta and Dr Mayank Datta are medical professionals and inspired by them she also wants to become a doctor.
Dhariti secured perfect scores in English, Punjabi and Retail Management along with 99 marks in Mathematics and Social Sciences. Her mother Neetu Gupta is a Mathematics teacher while her father Pradeep Gupta is a businessman and she plans to prepare for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).
Among other high scorers Avani Agarwal of Ivy World School and Akshat Manglik of Police DAV Public School secured 99.4 percent marks. Charuvrat Bains from MGN Public School Kapurthala also scored 99.4 percent. Rachit Thakur and Saksham Maini of Swami Sant Das Public School along with Gaurvanvit from La Blossoms School scored 99.2 percent each. Harmeher Singh and Tanmay Sharma of MGN Public School, Adarsh Nagar secured 99.2 percent and 99 percent marks respectively.
Manya Kanwar and Ashima Parmar of Cambridge International School Dasuya also performed well scoring 99 percent marks each.
